    JAMES

    Myelofibrosis (MF)

    Age: N/A

"I valued his friendship more than anyone will ever know. Jim's caring attitude, great smile, common sense thinking will always be in my memories as well as all of the times we spent skiing and biking. Jim will be greatly missed by everyone he touched"

Jim was born in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, High School. He married his soul mate Theresa Korkos and they raised 5 children together; Carole, Robert, Steve, Michael, Karen.

He was in business with his brothers and sons at Shaw Body-Shaw Auto Care. Jim was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

He enjoyed bicycling, snow skiing, and his family was most important to him spending as much time as he could with children and grandchildren. Jim was a friend to everyone he met and is missed by all his family, friends, and customers

His friends and colleagues had to say:

“I valued his friendship more than anyone will ever know. Jim’s caring attitude, great smile, common sense thinking will always be in my memories as well as all of the times we spent skiing and biking. Jim will be greatly missed by everyone he touched”

“Mr. Shaw was an incredible man who meant so much to so many, especially in my family. I know my dad’s Sunday mornings will be empty and could never be the same. Our trips out west have always held a special place in my heart and Jeff and I are so grateful we were able to spend the time together with him”

“I’ll miss you, Jim. Who’s going to tease me and make me laugh. You taught me how to drive a car. I got you to change your first dirty diaper. Coming to visit was like coming home. I was so glad I told you recently how I feel you are more a brother to me than an in-law. You will always be in my heart. Thank you for loving my sister with all your heart.”

“I loved seeing the old and new pictures of my cousin, Jim on the video. I remember that great smile that he had. ”

“What a good, fun, and kind man. I recall the dune buggy rides and other get together s that our family’s enjoyed.”
