  • MPNRF | August 28, 2016

MPN Research Foundation congratulates our MPN Challenge grantees Zhijian Qian, a PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Ann Mullally a MD at The Brigham and Women’s Hospital for receiving the 2016 ASH Bridge Grant. They are 2 of 9 investigators who have received the latest round of ASH Bridge grants to sustain their promising research programs that scored well but could not be supported by the NIH as a result of limited funding.  As a result of the limited funding the American Society of Hematology recently announced it will commit $3 Million annually to help preserve critical blood disease research. Read the press release here. MPNRF will continue to help launch new and young researchers who are now among the most productive MPN investigators.
